About Us

The church has been in the community of Pine Run since 1887. It was originally Evangelical, then Evangelical United Brethren (EUB) before being renamed Pine Run United Methodist when the EUB and the Methodist Episcopal churches merged in 1968.

The mission of Pine Run United Methodist Church is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to support and nurture the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of one another and the community at large with openness and understanding.

Our outreach efforts include support of many missionaries through the General Church, helping local charities and persons in need, and "Advance Specials" that extend our influence for Christ throughout the world through the United Methodist Committee on Relief.

Our worship service invites the Holy Spirit's presence and embraces an attitude of reverence, expectation and joyous response. All are invited to join us for worship and to share in any of the church's activities.

It is every Sunday at 8:45 a.m.; Sunday school for all ages follows at 10.

We host a fellowship luncheon when there is a fifth Sunday (except July). It is open to all and follows Sunday school (usually at 11:15).
